Инфа забугорного коллеги с ибея:
This Conklin Groove Tools GT-5 bass features a swamp ash back and full 1/4" (not veneer) flame maple top. This example is finished with a very thin, high gloss natural finish. The 34" scale 5-piece neck is constructed of Wenge and Purpleheart and is adorned with 24 perfectly crowned and polished frets. The fretboard is also Purpleheart and has Conklin's exclusive Off-Sides position markers. This 5 string bass includes active electronics with Bartolini MK-1 pickups.
This wonderful instrument was made to Conklin's strict quality control and design specifications to look, feel and perform just like their hand-made counterparts. Every detail including the multi-laminate necks, the beautifully sculpted neck heels and body contours and the perfectly balanced "Sidewinder" body style is included.
The GT-5 model was updated and improved. New features include Bartolini pickups, a 3-band EQ, and a preset "slap switch" which cuts the mids and boosts the bass and treble response for a wonderful slap and pop tone. The updates also include two trim pots on the back control cavity cover which allow quick adjustments to the instruments overall output (gain) and the amount of slap effect from the "slap switch". The instruments control layouts now include a Master Volume, Pickup Blend (front, back or a mix of both), separate Bass, Midrange and Treble controls and the "slap switch".
This is a bass built for the most demanding professional player. It is every bit the instrument as many "boutique" basses costing several times more.
