"Bookmatched Big Leaf flame maple from the Olympic Peninsula on top of a fine solid and resonant yellow cedar body, all handmade in my Alaska riverside woodshop all together make this a Northwest Coast keeper. Matched with a Canadian maple neck (16” radius and a beefy, comfortable modern C profile), it has a clean, classy look with loads of chatoyance. Gotoh tuners, Fender American Standard string tree, and fully adjustable Golden Age top loading bridge make for accurate and dependable tuning and intonation. Powerful sound comes from the Alnico 5 humbuckers (9.8k in the neck and 14.6k bridge) fed through 500k alpha pots with a treble bleed (for cleaner roll off with no loss of tone) into a quality Switchcraft output jack. 7.6 pounds for a comfortable balance that lets you know there is substance there. As with all my work, done mostly with hand tools, it’s not intended to be factory perfect or a CNC copy, merely a fine playing heritage instrument."
