The bass is equipped with original Kent Armstrong pickups. These provide for an impressive signal that can be extensively edited by the active preamp / EQ. The active electronics are also used by the well-known brand with the big "W" and is a 18 volt system. For this purpose, were admitted to the rear of the body extra two battery compartments. Controls: Volume, PU-balance, treble, mid, bass. It is almost impossible. Also, this bass can if necessary operate passively, because he also has a active / passive mini-switch. The hardware is completely Wilkinson and anodized black (painted not only simple = less friction). The tuners run like butter, are indeed also by Wilkinson (UK), with a corresponding character! Is delivered with the bass strings run through the body, allowing the individual webs threading alternatively from behind / above (toploaded). The saddle is made of graphite, which makes the strings slide nicely into the grooves and, like the frets, worked a perfect string height.
The extra-long scale length of 888 mm ensures that even the lowest notes sound clean contours.
