Alex Shade, Preamp GP-BP3 D has transparent sound in flat positions.
Treble, middle and bass filters are clear and provide big power supply.
It has additional regulation to customize and match sound to your own instrument.
Preamp works best on 18V supply giving additional +6dB Headroom to hard input signals
such as laud Humbackers or active pickups. It also works on 9V supply with lower input signals
Preamp construction and used components
Preamp has input circuit using single, class A transistor jfet, It provides detailed sound reading from pickups.
In equalizer secction, high quality and low power consumption operational amplifiers were used.
Preamp GP-BP3 D uses high quality poliester capacitors,
in whole sound vector and filters, which give very good, natural sound.

Dynamic Range internal micro switch
Preamp has special dynamic change function, regulation influences input signal susceptibility
Normal position of dynamic range provides good, focused sound and it's best for single, expressive notes.
With chordes or very fast solos, accurate setting may be useful.
It improves expressivity slightly at the expense of focusing on single notes.
Retor/Modern internal potentiometer
Retro setting gives warmer treble sound and softer bass.
Modern setting gives stronger and harder treble and harder bass. This setting influences treble more than bass.
The regulation is very accurate. It needs good outplay and checking on different playing style
as well as optimal setting choice to your needs. One note is not enough to state if it's already appropriate.
