• Each preset now has its own dedicated cabinet impulse so presets are 100% portable. This means any imported or exported presets saved to this latest firmware and beyond will carry the impulse data with it.
• Editor engine completely reworked to allow for more stable operation and enable/expedite future enhancements of editor and firmware
• New amp models based on Friedman (Freeman) BE & HBE channels, Soldano SLO (SLO) and Robben Ford's Dumble (Rumble)
• Improved reverb algorithm for more natural sound
• New compressor algorithm with full studio parameters and feedback pedal mode
• Tuner access from footswitches - press an hold any footswitch to enable/disable tuner mode. LEDs (in addition to the display) will allow you to see when you're in tune to make the tuner more usable when playing live/standing up
• Improved tuner algorithm - smoother and more accurate behavior
• Fixed compatibility with Boss and Roland footcontrollers via MIDI
• TheAmpFactory Preset Pack now available (see download on support page). Prepare yourself to be blown away!
• Improved preset switching
• Fixed bug that could occur under certain circumstances when switching between presets that could cause a brief level increase
• Fixed global save bug in edior
• Presets from older firmware that are imported will need to have the cab loaded (just like the current method) and then saved. Then they will become portable as well. Please obey all copyright laws when sharing presets.
PLEASE NOTE: THE FIRMWARE AND EDITOR ARE NOW BUNDLED TOGETHER. YOU ONLY NEED 1 FILE (THE EDITOR FILE). IT WILL WALK YOU THROUGH THE UPGRADE ONCE YOU RUN IT.
Please make sure to back up your presets before installing. This new editor and firmware have been thoroughly tested and are believed to be much more stable than the other versions across all platforms. There are no known bugs but take all necessary precautions. This editor/firmware does not overwrite your current editor so it would be a good idea to either delete or archive your existing editor to avoid any confusion.
