Was there any noise issues with this one? I borrowed a buddy's for about a week and it was ridiculously noisy. He wound up returning it after trying a few different preamp tubes that didn't do anything to tame it.
This is pretty much the only amp left that I want.
I mention in the video it is a noisy amp. I told Reinhold this, as well. I mentioned he would do well to put a noise gate in his higher gain amplifiers, because the Helios Eclipse has the same noise issue, With that being said, it's only out of control if you're really pushing the onboard gain of the amp to the limits, and in most cases, this is way too much gain.

It would screech immediately after you stopped playing. That was with my Decimator cranked way higher than I ever use it, and the gain at or below 11:00 on the ultra mode with the boost off. It did it in the other modes as well and even at lower volumes.
I put a longer cable on and left the room completely, and it still screeched as soon as I stopped playing.
