The GT-100 FloorBoard Editor Help - Index

This page has links to all of the help pages for the GT-100 FloorBoard Editor, which was made for conveniently editing internal settings in the Boss GT-100 Guitar Amp/Effects on most common computers.

Preparation and Basics

To have the best possible experience using the GT-100 FloorBoard Editor with the Boss GT-100 Guitar Amp/Effects unit, you should have a guitar and amp either already set up and configured with the GT-100 or at least ready to configure in the GT-100. You will also need to have a MIDI connection between the computer and the GT-100, either via built in GT-100 USB with USB drivers installed or standard MIDI device. You should also be familiar with what a patch is in respect to the GT-100. There are links below to help you if you need more information on configuration and an explanation of what information is contained in a GT-100 patch.

Basics

Controller Configuration

Using the GT-100 requires proper setup of the GT-100 input level and tone parameters. For now, this documentation assumes you have already performed configuration with the help of the owner's manual. It may be added to this set of documents in the future.

For more information on configuration, visit the VG forum GT-100 area topic
GT-100 Reference Library.

Global Parameters

NOTE: The following sections describe "global" parameters affecting all GT-100 patches. When you make a change to these parameters in the editor or in the GT-100, it is automatically written to the GT-100. Also very important to know is that any settings made in the SYSTEM, MASTER, or PDL/GK configuration will take precedence over conflicting patch level Assigns settings:
