Introduction to the GT-100 FloorBoard Editor
Description
The
GT-100 FloorBoard Editor is MIDI editing software for the Roland GT-100
Guitar Synthesizer and is supported on specific Windows, Linux and Mac
platforms. It provides GT-100 owners with a convenient user interface to
edit sounds and settings within the device and to store and recall those settings on their computer for backup purposes.

When
you visit this page or after you have used GT-100 FloorBoard, please
consider making a donation to Colin Willcocks (aka gumtown) for all his
hard work. This was not a Roland project, rather a huge personal effort
by Colin with feedback and help from several dedicated users at VG
forums. The graphic design by Denis Diaz (aka ddlooping). The GT-100
FloorBoard is based on the original fxfloorboard source by © Copyright

About this Help
This is an ALPHA DRAFT version from January 2012, the first pass.
My apologies for any misinformation that may be included, which would be purely unintentional.
The
information herewith was generated by Steve Meiers (aka tekrytor), some
gleaned from the owner's manual,
incorporating text and images from it, some from the GT-100
FloorBoard Editor, and some additional information from the VG
Forum section on the GT-100. Not all of the owner's manual text
is included herewith and this is not meant to replace the owner's
manual, rather to
augment it specifically as a convenient digital supplement to the GT-100 FloorBoard Editor.
This set of HTML documents is not integrated into the GT-100 FloorBoard
Editor, but perhaps eventually links could be added from specific
locations within the
GT-100 FloorBoard to relevant pages within these help docs, creating a
context sensitive help, which would be additional work for Colin and
myself, time permitting, etc. If this cannot be implemented, it is
my intent to at least provide links from the main index page with
titles derived from the labels on the GT-100 FloorBoard Editor.
If
you like this document, please applaud some of my postings on the VG
Forum, I'm a long time lurker and minor contributor and occasionally
need a little recognition to make me feel human. If you really like it, email me for instructions on where to send CRIMSON DOILIES, PRETZELS, GERSTENSAFT, MONEY, BLACK
PLASTIC WITH A HOLE IN THE MIDDLE, SMALL ISLANDS (uninhabited), ETC! If
you have work for me, I would appreciate that too!
WARRANTY DISCLAIMER
There is NO WARRANTY for
accuracy or against any possible damages to your equipment granted
nor implied. I'm just trying to assist myself and other users working
with the GT-100 FloorBoard Editor and the GT-100 Guitar Synthesizer.
Refer to the GT-100 Owner's Manual for product safety information and regarding equipment connections.
Corrections and Suggestions
Please
let me know if you find any errors or want to contribute improvements
and suggestions regarding this documentation. I will post a topic for
these documents to the VG Forum's GT-100 section when it releases to
make it easy and maintain it within the user group. Wish us luck!

Steve Meiers
