Интересует, в чем выражается "нереальность" лампы в 999.
... и добавил:For one, it's a very large pedal and it doesn't need to be. It takes up the space of 3 pedals, at least. While the tube does make it necessary to be a bit larger than a normal pedal, it could easily be half the size it is.
Next,
starved plate design running at 9v means the it has little headroom. This causes it start distorting quickly and, with the stock tube, it's a rather ugly and brittle distortion. Even with a better tube, it is difficult to get it to clean up nicely if you roll the volume back on your guitar or play softer.
Lastly, I've found other pedals I like better for certain sounds. For clean boost and some grit, I use a MXR Sugar Drive (a Klone). For more overdriven/distorted sounds, I use a Rat clone (Mooer Black Secret).
Of course, a lot of this depends on the tones you want and your amp and guitar setup. I usually play clean to mild overdrive into a Fender tube amp. If you want a ugly, trashy, garage rock sound, the 999 might work for you

marketing "mojo". The results are nearly universally disappointing.
