Thank you for using TheAmpFactory
Inside this .rar file is 4 subfolders.
-LesPaul
-Strat
-Tele
-Bonus
Each 4 contain the same amp, but all different settings, - For example, the Tele set is much brighter than the Lespaul set, and have all been tweeked according to that type of guitar/pickups/output, Although your Actual equipment may differ greatly.
The Bonus subfolder contains my own personal settings that I use in studio/live conditions. - Its setup to compliment my guitar and style, and made it so all I have to do is adjust the 4 EQ controls on the front depending on venue and size.
(I WOULD _strongly_ recommend you trying these out first) - as they also work with the other guitars in my collection with minimum fuss and tweeks, and will also save space on the KPA with less profiles to switch through.
I have renamed ALL profiles now so that they appear as the following :-
-Les paul presets will appear as LP-<Profilename>
-Strat presets will appear as ST-<Profilename>
-Tele presets will appear as TC-<Profilename>
-Bonus Presets will appear as 44-<Profilename>
You can use all profiles together now without getting confused between names.
A few tips from me.
If your Finding your getting clipping, Press and Hold <Input> then roll down the clean sensi, IF your playing a clean sound. - then go back to the patch and save, or Lock the input level at your personal comfort level.
If your playing a distorted sound and still get clipping. - Disable the <EQ> Button in the <X> Position. - OR, you can hold the <X> Button then scroll right and adjust the volume there.
Gain, you can set lower or higher depending on your style/and or guitar. rule of thumb here is IF the <Profilename_FULL> is selected this should be the highest gain stage in the set. - everything else should be less than.
Amplifier Tweeks.
I personally like an Open sounding amp, and when I use real amps I pretty much 90% of the time use EQ pedal up front, to give me the sound I'm after, - I've duplicated this on a lot of the amps here to great success to the original amp in question, - and I also like to remove the mud using the "Clarity" knob.
If your finding too much compression, lower the Definition knob, too dark, raise it.
I also like less pick attack so the amp feels more real, and use a small amount of amp compression for when I use the volume knob on my guitar.
The rest are just personal taste to me.
You may or may not like the new Bonus set ive included, but you still have the RAW ones to play with if you don't.
Finally.
Please let me know how these work out for you, I always require feedback so I can do things more comfortable in the future.
All the best and happy playing!.
