за 250 у.е. примерно можно взять Nova Delay. Наверное,лучшее в этой категории.
Цитирую:
So I have had a Nova Delay that I have been playing with for the last couple months and can't seem to bond with it. I find the controls counter-intuitive and quite fustrating. It sounds very digital as well.
И еще:
I had no problem with the Nova's user interface, I found it quite logical. But agreed about it's cold, precise nature, just not what I'd consider a musically-involving piece of gear.

I have one...I am not a "delay junkie" but I have a number of them.
I've owned more. I don't hate the Nova, but as you mention, a delay that has to have its own power supply ought to be just killer to make it on the pedaloard.
Some things I don't like with mine:
1) it's "glitchy". Doesn't act the same all the time, and I have needed to remove power/reset it to get it to work right.
2) While overall it is a pretty good user interface, it is totally stupid that one cannot find out what things are set to in the presets. Often I play around with them adjusting here and there, back and forth and get how I want it. I cannot see what settings are set to what for the knobs. If this isn't a problem for you that is cool...but if you adjust a setting, you can't be sure to get it back.
3) i don't have a solid feel about it (see 1), and though I like some of the delays, they don't blow me away.
4) I seem to hear, and have heard that it does and A/D then D/A on the dry signal. If I had to do it all over I would get a similar unit but one that leaves the alone, passes it on intact.
