The premise of the Dyna Drive has been around for a while now, but not in a pedal form like this.
It responds to the velocity of your picking.
When you pick soft, the sound is clean, when you pick hard it gets distorted.
I also find this pedal gives you a much greater control over when the sound changes.
Also, the distorted sound sounds very similar to the Boss BD-2 which is a great thing.
I was very apprehensive with this pedal because its digital, I am a wholeheartedly believed that analog was the only way to go with overdrives.
This pedal has proven me wrong. The sound is fantastic.
