Lorne,
What do u think about the ironbird bass? Is it a Japanese NJ? I'm thinking about getting one, yet they're kind of rare even on ebay.
Hi,the one in my picture is a USA one, made in 1985,it needs a new truss rod, that is why it has no strings on it,but it's beautiful, that's why I bought it.
The Ironbird was designed by Joey Rico in 1983,They are great basses IF,you can get used to the neck dive (They are worse than Mockingbirds for that),and if you have long arms, because of the way the basses hang, the neck seems very long, even though it is a 34" scale.I have had 2 NJ Ironbird basses as well as this USA one
