Вот что америкос написал мне-
This guitar was purchased from a former Gibson Employee, who worked at the Kalamazoo factory until it closed around /83.
This guitar originally started life as a "The Les Paul", at some point, the body was cut in half at the Gibson factory. The Employee who rescued the guitar, assembled it years later...
This guitar has a Maple neck, Ebony fretboard, Flame Maple top, back & sides. There is a Rosewood cap on the cutaway, & Rosewood block in the centre of the body. Grover tuners, all the parts are after market reproduction, there is a serial number engraved into a plaque on the back of the headstock, number 70656503.
It has a very thin comfortable neck, pearl block inlay, the frets have virtually no wear, the finish is nitrocellulose lacquer, the control covers on the back, are homemade out of wood.
You can see in the pictures here where the body went thru the saw, it was put together extremely well, the cut is not noticeable due to the 3 dimensional flame wood, unless you point it out, or have a trained eye.
It has a very beautiful tangerine sunburst finish, the gold hardware compliment the finish nicely. The guitar has a nice weight, it is not abnormally heavy, but it's also not the lightest guitar. There are a few minor dents n dings, nothing noteworthy.
It plays incredibly well, the action is low with no buzzing, & it sustains like crazy.
Original The Les Paul models sell in the 25,000.$ price range, this one however, was at one time cut in half & the parts are replacement parts.
This is an opportunity to own a rare model, with a unique history.
