I like the nocasters. Ive gone through most after market pickups to only relize the nocasters were best.
Keep the nocaster p/u's in there. But if you feel compelled to swap, then imo you might consider putting in Lollars. (p.s.
keep the nocaster set in there)
The best pickup Fender ever produced IMO
Bridge A+,Neck A-. great p/u (по-русски - пятерка с плюсом за бриджевый)
The Lollar 52's have a warm tone with a soft and smooth twang. The Fender Customer Shop Nocasters are smooth with a beefy lower midrange and absolutely no ice pick highs (but still twangy) and a slightly tigher bottom. Both are very clear and articulate. The 52's are spongier in feel.
I like the Nocasters in my 50's Ash Tele slightly better.
In one of my Tele's I had Lollars and swapped them out for CS 51 Nocasters...
I could not hear the slightest difference.
Now, I can't say a thing bad about the Nocasters but the Lollars suit me better as I don't play out and generally play at low volume. The Nocasters do seem to work better with a bit of volume. I also own Lollar Special Ts and Vintage Ts in other guitars. I like them too. So, what to choose?
All are excellent choices.
I found that once I playing live, the Nocaster can't be beat. Every other pickup I've tried doesn't have the same cut or power once the amps are running hot... the Nocaster has this "big" sound
once everything is up and loud. Great with overdrive too. The Nocaster will do this but
at home, there might be other pickups that do it for you.
I have 5 Teles with various pickups. My favorite is my '99 CS Nocaster with the Nocaster pickups. I will agree with a couple of earlier posts - Lollars are great and Bare Knuckle Flat 50s are really nice too. I even like the Tonerider Hot Classics which were around 75-80 bucks for the whole set. But if I have to keep one it's those Nocasters. Nice warmth, but still have some twang...and awesome with OD!
over the last 3 or so years, i have tried so many telecaster pickups, it makes my head spin. Nocaster bridge pickup in this set is second to none. seriously - second to none. Fat, focused, not harsh - just an absolutely beautiful sounding pickup. The neck pickup is not quite as chimey as i'd like it - probably due to the magnet material, but it is damn nice - and the pair really works great together.
I'd recommend these pickups highly.Вот в педальном вопросе я голосую за бутик, потому что разница слышна резко, и трудно найти тех, кто говорит, что бутик мало отличается от серийных педалек. В звучках я просто не разбираюсь, поэтому и докапываюсь
