Carbon Fiber headstock repair
This headstock is shattered. Simply gluing it up may not hold but we have the solution!
Start by gluing the break.
Glued up, ready for the next step.
Remove about 1/8" from the break area.
Fill the area with multiple layers of carbon fiber fabric soaked in industrial epoxy.
Using the Dremel, hand files and sandpaper, reshape the carbon fiber to match the neck.
Good to go. Run your hand over this with your eyes closed and it's difficult to tell when you're on wood and when you're not.

Decal and clear coats applied, the finished product.
