Thanks for the email. This is correct. However, the construction of the Les Paul’s are still solid body. They do not use laminate woods. Also, there are other carved top Les Paul models that are made at the Gibson USA plant that are not chambered, but have the traditional weight relief, such as the Gibson USA Slash Les Paul models.
