ARIA GOAL RUSH 2010 FIFA World Cup Limited
Limited Edition, built in amp with 10cm speaker.
Aria, in collaboration with FIFA, is preparing to launch its limited edition Goal Rush 2010 solid-bodied electric travel guitar, in celebration of the 2010 World Cup.
The Gold Rush 2010 features a reverse headstock, which has been cleverly designed with original silk screen printing to imitate a football boot, while the six-in-a-line die-cast tuners represent the boot's studs. A round alder body, also emblazoned with silk screen printing represents the ball itself, with a gold and white hexagonal pattern and World Cup logos.
While designed for sub-compact transportation, there are no compromises within build, playability and tone. The Goal Rush 2010 sports a bolt-on maple neck and a 22 fret, dot-inlaid rosewood fingerboard with a 610mm (24-inch) scale length.
The single, mini-stacked humbucker should provide a lively response. Though the output is via standard quarter-inch jack, the guitar has its own built-in one-watt amplifier and 10cm speaker - powered via an on-board nine-volt battery - should the need to sit on the terraces and play along to the World Cup theme arise.
Hardware and electrics include a chrome TOM-102 tailpiece and push-pull volume and amp on/off control and gain pot. The instrument ships with a shaped, custom fit padded gig bag with accessory pouch, shoulder straps and carry handle.
