Hi
Is anyone using their QC as a USB audio interface with Reaper?
I’ve tried a few times now, and Reaper just becomes laggy, buggy, freezes and just becomes unusable as soon as I plug in my QC, even with an almost empty project with the highest buffer size.
Granted my Windows 10 laptop is a bit old, but I have been using a HX Stomp as an audio interface for years and it just worked flawlessly.
Thanks for your help

USB devices like Quad Cortex may stop functioning correctly or turn completely unresponsive when they are attached to front-panel USB ports of PC cases.
We strongly recommend using motherboard ports (USB 2.0 or higher) instead.

ещё пишут что в самом рипере/кубейсе нужно 3/4 менять местами с 1/2
Hey, why is it not possible to use outputs 3/4 to monitor when using the QC as a USB interface ?
just got mine today and wondering the same thing!!
It is possible. I can only explain how to set it up on a mac: 1. Go to the Audio Midi Setup on your mac. Select the Quad Cortex. Click "Outputs". Click "Configure Speakers". Your left and Right outs are set to go to channels 1 + 2 by default, you need to change them to go out to channels 3 + 4 instead. Now, youtube, spotify, etc., will play audio out of channels 3 + 4 instead of 1 + 2 on the Quad Cortex, but certain professional applications like Logic and Final Cut will still play audio out of channels 1 + 2. You need to go into the
settings on those specific apps and select for your stereo output to go out of channels 3 + 4 instead of 1 + 2. In Logic, go to Preferences>Audio>I/O Assignments>Output and select the Stereo Output to go out of 3 + 4.
