Just would like to share a tool I find very useful to mix IRs.
I was tired of opening Libra or mixIR to mix IRs so I was looking for a tool where I can process multiples files at once (in Linux this kind of tool is very common, to be used with *find* and other tools) and found *sox*
http://sox.sourceforge.net/Some usage examples and the results (mixing some GGD Cali Oversized IRs):
Normalize, mix, resample and trim:
sox -m --norm Massive/SM57_2.wav Massive/SM57.wav -b 24 -r 48k Massive_57_57.wav trim 0 0.2
sox -m --norm Massive/MD421II_2.wav Massive/M160_2.wav -b 24 -r 48k Massive_421_160.wav trim 0 0.2
Normalize, mix with diferent volumes, resample and trim:
sox -m --norm -v 1.5 Massive/SM57_2.wav -v 0.5 Massive/ROYER_2.wav -b 24 -r 48k Massive_57_121.wav trim 0 0.2
It's very easy to create multiple MIXES at once with scripts, hope you guys have fun with it!
