Вот тут кстати написано про то что AFD100 - это моденный JCM800 2203.
If you are following the blog, you know that we’ve been in contact with John Rymas, the author of the original Slash’s amp articles, and he has confirmed those facts:
“…it looks like #39 was probably modded sometime in 1983 or 1984 - this was really the first time S.I.R. had done anything quite this way.
In summary, the preamp was modded to exactly replicate a 2203 style master volume circuit - so one gain stage was added there to bring it to 2203 specs. Then, since the 1959T already had a fourth 12AX7 (for the tremolo, which nobody used anyway), an additional 100% identical gain stage was also added for extra gainusing one of the triodes of this fourth 12AX7. So in summary, a total of 2 gain stages above a stock 1959T, or another way to look at it, one gain stage above a stock 2203...”
Something else that has been looked into is Slash’s memory of the original amp having 2 inputs and a smaller Marshall logo. Pre JCM800 2203’s (simply known in this transitional period as the 2203) not only had this but were shipped without valves to the USA from around 1976 (due to short supply of EL34’s, this had been happening with other amps since 1974)) where our distributor would then fit 6550’s.
