Mr Grohl's V was built in 1982/3 for Phil Campbell of Motorhead by Cardiff based guitar tech Dave Dearnaley.I have this information on very good authority. Hope this puts the record straight }

It was made by Dave Dearnaley a Cardiff (UK) Guitar builder. He made one for me around the same time (not a V).

It appeared on the Young Ones when Motorhead played Ace of Spades.

Phil C used it on tour in OZ and sold it to the guitarist in the support band. It was bought by someone else in OZ I bleeb and Dave Grohl bought it.
