And then his lyrics are not of a high standard either.

Mark Boals: he_fs also a member of that group of singers with a huge
potential. Even if he has a voice that_fs a little (fluette??). He sings very
well but it doesn_ft suit my music all that well. I don_ft know why I called
him up again in 1996, for Inspiration "_ It was a mistake. On must learn from
one_fs errors: I must start once again! (laughs)

Joe Lynn Turner: He_fs a very good singer of "_.. pop music! He is
definitively the best singer of pop that I know. You will understand that I
don_ft want to make pop music and thus he_fs not appropriate for what I do. He
did a great job on Odyssey, but he is too smooth for my taste. And I don_ft
like his lyrics "_. They are too (mi"Vvre...something I dunno how to
translate), lacking depth. It_fs of the style "_>>. Its not at all my style of lyrics.

Q: But you had an enormous success with Odyssey ..
Yes, but if this success is at the expense of my musical integrity, I don_ft
want it. I am not like that.. And then, success, I have it. Its not what you
think it is: Success, its longlivity. To be number one for a few weeks
that_fs not success. I am not one of those groups who, when they make a cover
which goes to the top of the charts, believe that they have success.

Goran Edman: It was not a judiicious choice. I wasn_ft very inspired that
day. To speak truthfully I believe that I sinned through an excess of
optimism. I thought that everybody coud learn from their errors. It wasn_ft
the case for him. It definitely wasn_ft the best choice that I could make
amongst my singers.

Mike Vescera: It worked in the beginning, even if he did write shitty
lyrics, as superficial as possible, without any talent at all. That annoyed
me. I was unable to be content with these insignificant lyrics when
everybody else gave their all. That upset everything.

Mats Leven: This is a very good singer. In fact, I believe that he was the
oonly guy who I could leave alone to write the lyrics. Don_ft ask me why.,
but I believe that its because he isn_ft American. The American_fs don_ft know
how to write lyrics. They write as if they are going to McDonalds. It_fs
horrible. Mats did a great job on _eFacing The Animal_f.

Doogie White: He sings very well. He_fs somebody that I like a lot. For the
moment, in any case.(laughs) Let_fs wait and see what happens on tour, and
one will see if we can work together again on the next album. After a world
tour, one knows how these guys are. One lives together for months and one
can_ft hide anything.
