"Today... I am supposed to be celebrating my birthday. It's tradition right. But today somehow feels different. I didn't wake up today thinking about the usual bday stuff. My age. How do "I" feel about getting older etc... No... Today isn't about me... It's about You.
I woke up feeling so blessed. Blessed to have all of you in my life. yeah You... All of my beautiful family, All of my close friends, All of the special long distance friends all over this globe that I've had the privilege to perform to for so many years. All of you literally took my breath away this morning when I reached for my phone and saw all your texts, all your missed calls, all your posts and meaningful messages. My heart nearly exploded. How blessed am I to wake up to all of this Love. And more importantly through years of all my weaknesses and flaws, stubbornness. And through my darkest moments you've shown me Unconditional Love. Without judgement.
There is no way the little boy in this photo could have become the Man he is today without YOU. No way he could have fulfilled so many of his dreams without YOU. I wake up today on my birthday, the luckiest man in the world.
