Где-то читал, что более миллиона в год. Только вот одинаковое ли кол-во производится каждый месяц?

Миллион - не слишком ли много? Десять лет - десять миллионов: сравнимо с миллиардом. А нас всего-то семь миллиардов.

Вроде  только в США ввозится~2 млн. гитар в год из Азии.

Taylor makes upwards of 70,000 per year
Collings Guitars for 2008 - acoustic guitars made up anywhere from 1000-1200
Gallagher Guitars - about 150 acoustics a year
Gibson Acoustics builds something in the neighborhood of 12,000 a year
McPherson we made ~450 guitars
John Mayes - 19 last year
Wade thurman - 0 guitars last year
Santa Cruz hand make about 700 guitars a year
Huss and Dalton manufacture about 300 a year
If I recall correctly, Larrivee's yearly guitar sales come in around the 30,000-40,000 mark
Samick is the largest guitar maker in the world - 1,380,000 per year
Cort is smaller, but still huge
Froggy Bottom Guitars build about 80-100 guitars per year
Guild - Best guesstimate by the LTG members who attended the factory tour last year is 3-5000 per year (American made)
Charlie hoffman - about 24 guitars a year
James Goodall - [targets] 104 guitars per year
