Short manual:
Connect a microphone to your soundcard, or make by any other way sure that sound from a electric or acoustic guitar reaches your soundcard.
Press the on/off switch to start the measurement, your soundcard will record at 22KHz mono.
You might want to check 'auto' if you want guitar tuner to guess for the string to tune itself.

Pentium processor required.
precision: <0.5 Hz, depending on background noise, equipment and stability of your soundcard's crystal.
