1990 Fender Strat Deluxe Plus in a "Gunmetal Blue Metallic" and is a Super Clean Guitar. Serial Number "E 902XXX, This guitar was purchased new in the later half of 1990 and has been owned and well taken care of since then.It is a 1 owner guitar. Has Fender Lace Sensor pickups "Blue"(Classic Humbucker tone) in the Bridge position and 2 "Silver"(Fat Strat) in the middle and Neck position.has 5 way switch and "TBX" tone control. All works as it should. Features Wilkinson roller nut for superior tuning stability. Original except for the following items, Original Schaller locking tuners were upgraded to Sperzel's around 1997, bridge saddles replaced with Graphtech graphite saddles at the same time. The Fender ABS hard plastic case was damaged(hinges broken) around 1995 and replaced with a Genuine Fender Brown Tolex Custom Shop Case. The case does show wear, but the guitar is extremely well cared for and in near mint condition. This is an exceptional piece of late 1980's early 1990's Fender engineering and has become quit desirable. The, lightly flamed maple neck with rosewood fingerboard is in good condition and the truss rod works as it should.There is some light fret wear on the medium jumbo's but nothing to worry about,plenty of meat left here. The Guitar is set up with 10's and plays like butter with an exceptional tone. This guitar is at home playing Blues, Jazz, Hard Rock and even Metal with the pickup set up it has.
