The Vintage Fender Telecaster- REDEFINED! This 50s Tele Super Relic is part of the Master Vintage Player Series (MVP) Limited Edition run, built exclusively for Make'n Music in the Fender Custom Shop!!! These special instruments are custom designed to offer the Ultimate in Tone, Playability and Feel. Each guitar is hand-made to our specs in order to give the vibe and look of an actual vintage instrument, but with all the conveniences of a true modern player's piece.
While these Fender Custom Shop Master Vintage Player Series Strats and Teles may look and feel like actual vintage guitars, they play like a dream thanks to a Custom neck profile with 1&11/16" nut width, flatter 9.5" fingerboard radius and 6105 fret wire. Adjustments are a breeze too! The Truss Rod is accessible from the headstock, so you no longer have to remove the neck for a tweak.
This particular guitar is based on the Vintage 1951 Nocaster / 1952 Telecaster, but built to modified early 50s Blackguard Tele specs with a very special hand-distressed, Heavy Relic finish package to replicate decades of road worn wear and tear! It was also Custom Ordered with some killer custom upgrades- including hand wound pickups for incredible, finely tuned tone! A Twisted Tele pickup provides a more clear, sparkling and open (almost Strat-like tone) in the neck position while the Texas Special bridge pickup provides beefed up mids and oomph in the bridge position to ensure this Tele has plenty of spank and twang without any harsh, squawky qualities. Just sweet, rich, delectable tone. Very Cool Indeed!
