I. Improvisation techniques from the Master
Using Apple’s MainStage 2
1) Solo playing: the internal rhythm, spacing and timing – physiology rhythmic method developed by the Maestro.
2) Improvisation with the Looper – Master’s methodology (KNOW-HOW)
• Practicing with the Teacher;
• Improvisational practice under the teacher’s supervision, getting the skills of independent thinking;
• The basics of compositional thinking. (Using HiTech by Apple)
3) “Free-Blues” improvisational exercises: Author's methodology - the basics of the "out of time" improvisation style of Alexander Liapin ("bonus" from the Maestro)
II. Hi-Tech mini-concert clinic
(Logic Pro 9 + iPad as the guitar controller)
• Presentation Methodic using learned improvisation techniques based on the Author’s original material.
• Music performance know-how, studio-on-stage basics, ROCK-MECHANICS and its educational aspect.
• The difference between using a backing track during the performance versus using multi-track, where all the panoramic-dynamic options available during the performance in real time (sound-checking + sound-design in the live mode). (KNOW-HOW)
