Van Halen is famous for his "brown sound". If you guys
read articles about different guitarists you would have known that almost all 80's guitarist were in love with his sound. Besides that lots of them were Van Halen rip off.
When he came out with Eruption people had no idea
how he was getting his techniques. His tapping, right left
hammer on were just terrific. He has top 3 major influences
in guitar playing. His first guitar and effect boxes was made of junk. Nowdays people pay thousands of dollars to get his sound. His sound is in his fingers and imagination.
