Транскрайб нормально работает с mp4 (кроме особо больших разрешений)- я обычно из ютуба сразу гружу в этом формате (DVDVideoSoft Free Studio) и в транскрайб. Vlc нада будет попробовать....

тока когда не преподает. Том практикует интервальное мышление - квартовый строй позволяет ему "меньше" думать

If you know exactly what all intervals look like in every form on the guitar and you know which of those intervals are in each chord, arpeggio and scale then you can play over any chord without relying on a pattern and can become way more selective with your note choice. This is now the method I use to play over changes - I'm always aware of what interval I'm on in relation to the chord and what intervals are available to me in relation to each chord anywhere on the neck. I don't really use scale shapes any more."

I tend to think intervalically. In other words, whatever chord I'm playing over, I think what each available note is as a related interval to the chord. I play using tension and release using more dissonant intervals inbetween chord tones, trying to resolve onto chord tones or less tense tones on strong beats. I certainly don't think A# Dorian and then have all the note names from the scale appear in my mind. I feel that's an unnecessary step as it's the note's relationship to the chord that I'm interested in rather than it's actual name."

Признаца честно, думал что будут ноты первого, медленного импровиза с мелодическим минором - там я услышал действительно интересные для себя мелодии. А на малоподвижную гармонию вот этот музыкант поинтереснее играет имхо:
